This is the home of Verve, a social dance company built around great music, great people and a welcoming atmosphere on the dance floor.
When Michel Ange Lau created LeRoc (now widely known as Modern Jive) in the late 1970s, it went on to become one of the most popular and adaptable forms of partner dancing in the UK and beyond.
At Verve, we celebrate Modern Jive by blending influences from other partner dances such as Salsa, West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop, giving it a fresh, modern and relaxed feel.
Modern Jive is stylish, expressive and incredibly versatile, working just as well to chart music as it does to old favourites and classics.
