We are excited to announce our next Lindy Hop weekend at the beautiful Victoria Hotel in Torquay, part of the esteemed TLH group. Join us for a weekend of dancing, workshops, fun, and socialising in Torquay by the sea.

Experience a weekend filled with high-quality workshops and social dances designed specifically for Lindy Hop and Balboa dancers. We run workshops in Lindy Hop from Improver to Advanced level, and Balboa workshops at Improver and Intermediate/Advanced level.

In the evenings you can dance the night away with Lindy Hop in the main ballroom and Balboa in the second ballroom. Saturday night’s highlight will be the spectacular Teachers’ Cabaret that you won’t want to miss.

Your weekend package includes en-suite accommodation for three nights in this lovely hotel. A £20 deposit secures your place.

Breakfast and three-course evening meals are included. There is a huge choice of workshops running throughout Saturday and Sunday, plus great social dancing every evening with a party atmosphere, including a spectacular Saturday cabaret.

You also get free access to the hotel facilities and will be well looked after by the hotel staff and the Rock Bottoms team.

The Teachers

We choose teachers who run great workshops and perform wonderful cabarets, but just as importantly teachers who love dancing and spend time on the social floor with everyone. More information about this lineup can be found on our Teachers page.

The Hotel

The Victoria Hotel is part of the TLH Leisure Resort, with its grand ballrooms, plenty of leisure facilities and ideal holiday location, making it simply the best hotel complex for any dance holiday in the UK. Facilities include an impressive indoor swimming complex with 25m pool, leisure pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Schedule

You may check into the hotel any time after 3pm on Friday. Check-out is by 10:30am Monday. Workshops run continuously between 10am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Evening dances run Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:30pm.

Booking

A £20 deposit holds each place until five weeks before the event. You are welcome to check availability by phone, but please complete the booking form to request your place. We currently accept payment by bank transfer.

Places are limited by the number of rooms available at the hotel.
