At our workshops, we make sure to bring in teachers who not only inspire you with their amazing teaching skills but also love dancing just as much as you do. They're not afraid to hit the social dance floor with all of you and share their passion for dancing. So come join us and let's have some fun together!


Jenny Thomas

Enhance your dancing skills and take your moves to the next level with dance workshops led by none other than Jenny herself!

Her workshops are designed for dancers of all levels and will offer an opportunity to learn from one of the most talented dancers in the world.
Jenny draws on her extensive knowledge and expertise on authentic Jazz Dance styles such as The Charleston, Blues, and Lindy Hop.
You will be refining your skills, learning new techniques and gain valuable insights from one of the best dancers in the industry. So whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, you're in for a treat!





anders Anders & Hyunjung

Hyunjung Choi is a swing dancer, instructor and choreographer from Korea. Her name became known to many by winning the 1st place in "Hellzapoppin contest, Frankie 100" She continues to show her unique character in workshops and events all around the world. She is a passionate dancer who strives to better express herself, and her delightful dancing gives positive energy to everyone who watches her dance. Anders Sihlberg is an experienced swing dancer, teacher, and performer based in Stockholm, Sweden. He refined his craft with the renowned Hot Shots, a group dedicated to preserving and showcasing traditional swing dance. A versatile performer, Anders has participated in numerous shows and projects worldwide. His teaching style emphasizes a balance of historical knowledge, technical precision, and creativity.


Bic & Simone
Simone met Bic on a crowded dance floor, they found a common passion for Lindy Hop and have never stopped dancing since. Their love for the dance has taken them to many places such as New York, China, Sweden, Barcelona and Bali to experience the various local scenes and the top teachers around the world. 2012 saw a succession of first place positions in competitions all over the UK and 1st and 2nd place at major french camps.

Bic and Simone run weekly classes on the South Coast as well as many events in the UK and abroad. They are also invited to teach at various camps and workshops around the UK. They love sharing their passion for the dance and hope to encourage the lindy hop scene in the UK.

Bic and Simone have a reputation for their focus on technique in their teaching. On the social dance floor they are known for their fluid dance style and commitment to both each other and the music.
 

andy_jenny Andy Fleming

Renowned Lindy Hop teacher and swing dance advocate Andy Fleming brings over 15 years of expertise to our dance weekend. A cornerstone of the UK’s vibrant swing scene, Andy co-founded Swing Dance Taunton and has taught at major international events like France’s Lindy Hop Ski Week and Bristol’s New Year Swing Celebration. Known for his ability to demystify complex moves while fostering musicality, he creates inclusive spaces for beginners and seasoned dancers alike.

During the daytime workshops, Andy will guide you through classic Lindy Hop patterns, Charleston variations and creative aerial techniques all taught with his trademark focus on safety and connection. In the evenings he’ll hit the social floor, dancing with everyone and sharing his infectious energy.


Nikki Santilli

Nikki began to learn Lindy Hop, Balboa and Authentic Jazz in London in 2003, becoming a teaching and performance partner with Simon Selmon. She also worked with retired principal ballet dancer, Patrick Hood, on aerials and performance technique.
Since 2012, she has been a solo teacher, specialising in Balboa & Solo Jazz.


 

Mel * Jo Calanglang

Mel and Jo are internationally respected Balboa and swing dance instructors. Renowned for their technical precision and warm teaching style, they create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment for all dancers.

Specialising in Balboa, their lessons focus on lead-follow connection, rhythmic creativity, and adapting to live music. With over a decade of experience, they break down complex movements into simple drills and incorporate historical insights about Balboa’s rich heritage.

Mel and Jo have taught at prestigious swing festivals worldwide, including the All Balboa Weekend in Cleveland, where they were core instructors for the advanced track. They led fusion workshops at Swing Out New Hampshire and focused on musicality at the London Balboa Festival. Their friendly demeanour inspires dancers to refine their technique while having fun.


 

Marvin Muoneke and His Band

On Sunday night we'll have some fabulous live swing music. This guy has an amazing voice and has been on The Voice and reached the semi finals of Britain's Got Talent. Together with his wonderful swing band they'll give you a final night at Rock Bottoms to remember.
